SmartThings is an application to control smart home appliances, Samsung TVs, and others. It is compatible with Android and iOS devices. But you should configure the SmartThings app first so you can use it often.
1. Install the SmartThings app on your device from the App Store or Play Store on your respective mobiles.
2. Open SmartThings and click on the + icon.
3. From the drop-down options, choose Add device.
4. Select TV from the list of icons.
5. Click Start to continue.
6. Select a location from the available options.
7. Choose your TV from the list and enter the code on the TV screen.
8. Finally, it will notify as Successfully connected.
9. Click Done and select your TV from the home screen.
That’s it! Samsung TV remote control interface will appear. Click the Power button to turn it on/off. However, we can also use the Universal remote for Samsung TV by pairing it with the device using their remote codes.
