How to Factory Reset Toshiba TV Remote Control in 3 Minutes

[1] Press the D-PAD left button, the back button, and the menu button at a time. Keep hold of these buttons for 2 minutes.

[2] Release the buttons when you see the remote light blinks multiple times. The light indicates that the remote has been unpaired from the TV.

[3] Now, remove the batteries from the remote.

[4] Press the Power button and keep hold of it for 30 seconds.

[5] Then, press all the buttons one by one to release or drain the charge from the remote.

[6] Now, insert the batteries and start using the remote.

Note: If the remote is no longer working after resetting, you can use the Toshiba TV remote app as a substitute. Then you can easily control your Toshiba TV using your smartphone.

How to Reset Toshiba Fire TV Remote

If you can’t able to pair the remote to Toshiba Fire TV, resetting the remote would help fix the issue.

[1] First, remove the batteries from the Toshiba Fire TV remote.

[2] Press the Power button for 60 seconds.

[3] Take your finger from the power button and press all the buttons on the Fire TV remote.

[4] Now, insert the batteries back into the remote.

Note: You can use the Amazon Fire TV remote app to reset your Toshiba Fire TV without a remote.

How to Reset Toshiba TV Replacement Remote

[1] Remove the batteries from the Toshiba TV universal remote.

[2] Press all the buttons on the remote to drain out the charge and insert the batteries back into it.

[3] Then, press the 2 and 8-digit buttons together within 6 seconds. You will see the LED light blinking twice.

[4] Enter the code 9-8-1 and now the LED light will blink 4 times.

Note: After resetting, you need to pair the universal remote to your TV using Toshiba TV remote codes.

[2] Press and hold the RESET button using a sim ejector or paperclip for at least 30 seconds.

[3] While holding the reset button, plug the TV cord back into the power socket.

[4] After 30 seconds, you can release the RESET button. You have successfully reset the Toshiba Fire TV.
