How to Program Telus Remote to TV or Receiver

With the Telus TV Digital box, you can access thousands of apps through the Google Play Store, and watch live and on-demand TV. Moreover, Telus TV Digital Box comes with a Bluetooth voice remote that provides customers with an immersive entertainment experience. To use the remote, you need to program the Telus remote to the TV or other device.

How to Program Telus Classic Remote

[1] First, you need to turn on your device (TV/DVD/Bluray/Amplifier) to which you need to program the Telus remote.

[2] Then, open a web browser on your smartphone or PC and visit Telus Classic remote code finder webpage.

[3] Choose the device (TV/ DVD/ Bluray/ Amplifier).

[4] Select your device model.

[5] Click the Skip this Step. The screen will show you the remote codes.

[6] Enter the respective code on the number pad. The TV button will flash 3 times.

[7] Press the Power button and see if the TV turns off.

[8] If the TV does not turn off, repeat the same steps with a different remote code.

Note: If you have Spectrum TV, you can program Spectrum remote to the TV or receiver with or without remote codes.

How to Synchronize the Telus Classic Remote

Here’s how to program Telus remote to Toshiba TV, Sharp TV, or any other device you want.

[1] First, turn on your television and TELUS Digital box.

[2] On your remote, press and hold the TELUS/STB followed to that press the Ok button. Release both the buttons, the remote will flash 2 times.

[3] Enter the code 977 on the number pad and you will see the TELUS/STB button flashing twice.

[4] Next, Press TELUS/STB and the TV button to link the 2 devices and the buttons will flash twice.

[5] Press the Enter/Options button.

[6] Now, press the Power button and this will turn off the TV and digital box.

[7] When the devices get turned off, it means that your TV and Digital box are now synchronized on the remote successfully.

How to Program Telus Remote to Receiver

[1] Press the 7 and 9 buttons simultaneously and keep hold for three seconds. This will initiate remote pairing.

[2] You can repeat step 1 to re-pair the remote even if it gets unpaired.

[3] If remote pairing is incomplete, eject the old batteries and replace them with new AA batteries.

How to Program Telus Satellite Remote to TV

[1] Press the TV button and keep hold until the SAT, VCR, and AUX buttons start to blink.

[2] After that, release the TV button. The TV button will begin to flash.

[3] During the TV button flashes, refer to Telus Satellite TV remote codes and enter the 3-digit code.

[4] Once you enter the code, press the # button.

[5] If the code is found valid, the TV button will blink thrice.

[6] Test the remote functions by pressing the volume and power buttons.

[7] If the remote pairing is unsuccessful, repeat steps 1 to 6 with a different remote code.
